স্ত্রী যৌন হরমোনঃ –

স্ত্রী যৌন হরমোন বলতে ইস্ট্রোজেন ও প্রোজেস্টেরন কে বুঝায়। ডিম্বাশয়ের বর্ধিষ্ণু ফলিকলের গ্রানুলোসা কোষ থেকে ইস্টোজেন এবং কর্পাস লিউটরিয়াম থেকে প্রোজেস্টেরন নিঃসৃত হয়। প্রকৃত পক্ষে মস্তিষ্কের হাইপোথেলামাস থেকে নিঃসৃত গোনাডোট্রপিক রিলিজিং হরমোনের প্রভাবে পিটুইটারি গ্রন্থি উদ্দীপিত হলে এখান থেকে ফলিকল উদ্দীপক হরমোন ও লিউটিনাইজিং হরমোন নামক দুটি গোনাডোট্রপিক নিঃসৃত হয়। যা স্ত্রী গেনাড বা ডিম্বাশয় কে স্ত্রী যৌন হরমোন ক্ষরণে উদ্দীপ্ত করে। পুরুষের ন্যায় স্ত্রীর তেও যৌন হরমোন সব সময় নিঃসৃত হয় না। বরং নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের ব্যাবধানে রজঃচক্রের ঘটনাবলির সাথে সমন্বয় সাধন করে নিঃসৃত হয়। প্রতি রজঃচক্রে সাধারনত একটি মাত্র ডিম্বানু তৈরি হয়। রজঃচক্রের প্রথম দিন থেকে একটি নতুন চক্রের শুরু হয়। গোনাডোট্রপিক রিলিজিং হরমোন অগ্র পিটুইটারি গ্রন্থিকে উদ্দীপ্ত করলে ফলিকল উদ্দীপক হরমোন নিঃসৃত হয়। এই হরমোন ডিম্বাশয়ের উপর ক্রিয়া করপ ফলিকলের বর্ধন ঘটায়।

 

এস্ট্রোজেন নিয়ন্ত্রণ বৈশিষ্ট্য সমূহঃ-
* ডিম্বাশয় ফেলোপিয়ান নালী, জরায়ু এবং যোনির আকার কয়েক গুন বৃদ্ধি।
*চর্বি সঞ্চিত করে mons pubis এবং Inbia major ও labia minora এর বৃদ্ধি।
*স্তনের stromal tissue – এর বর্ধন।
*চর্বি সঞ্চয়ের মধ্যমে স্তনের বৃদ্ধি।
* প্রজননিক বরসে মেয়েদের osteoblastic সক্রিয়তা বৃদ্ধি
করপাস লিউটিয়াম ইস্টুোজেন ক্ষরণ শুরু করে। সাথে সাথে করপাস লিউটিয়াম থেকে প্রোজেস্টেরন নামক আরও একটি হরমোন নিঃসৃত হতে থাকে। ইস্ট্রোজেনের ন্যায় প্রোজেস্টেরন লক্ষ্য স্থল দুটি ক. জরায়ু
খ. অগ্রপিটুইটারি গ্রন্থি।
এ হরমোন জরায়ু প্রাচীরের বৃদ্ধিতে সাহায্য করে এবং এন্ডোমেট্রিয়ামের গ্রন্থি সমুহকে উদ্দীপিত করে। অগ্রপিটুইটারি গ্রন্থির উপর এ হরমোন প্রভাব বিস্তার করে লিউটিনাইজিং হরমোন নিঃসরন কে বাধা দেয়। এটাই নেগেটিভ ফিডব্যাক।
